This is quite sad/nostalgic...
Cd singles are going to leave (digital) space to music downloads, so every new release in the above format could be the last.
and that's the case with hollow man. man sized wreath is scheduled to be the third single off accelerate, but i fear this will be in digital download-only form (I secretly hope that's not the case).
by the way, the point is that the hollow man 3 tracks cd single is really good. hollow man bonds perfectly with the live from Vancouver version of horse to water (with vocals a little more buried in the mix than the studio version), wich i find highly enjoyable.
but the big surprise is indian summer, a beat happening cover which could easily be described as 5 minutes of pure r.e.m. greatness. and i can't help thinking about how great on the fly, with a similar production treatment, would have been (maybe it's there, waiting for some sort of release).
the single sounds like an ep, with the perfect (casual?) choice of the tracklist.
no doubt it is worth buying; and the only retailer that is selling it is cdon (at least, for the europeans):
